Toxic positivity is harmful. It hinders genuine healing by denying "bad" emotions and promoting suppression. Life includes a huge range of experiences, including both joy and sorrow. Instead of telling someone to "just smile more" or dismissing their struggles, it's way better to offer genuine support and acknowledge that healing takes time. "I'm here for you, no matter what you're going through." is way more healing for a friend than "good vibes only".
That's the ridiculously complicated story behind this sticker, but I hope it can open up informative conversations like this 🥰
